This is my favorite view from our cabin outside of Asheville, NC. We call this view "the cathedral" - a long open view down the holler, with an arching canopy of large trees. This view was captured in October 2021, early in the peak autumn leaf season. When formatted as a large triptych, it seems like a window into the autumn forest, from right inside your home. We have this very same triptych on the most prominent wall in our own home, in a large open stairway.

Direct-printed using UV-cured AGFA ink on 3/4" furniture-grade 7-ply maple, and sealed with a natural finish. This printing medium and technique yields a matte finish with incredible color reproduction, depth and texture. From a few feet away, it's like looking at reality. From up close, the subtle woodgrain texture and soft edges look similar to an original oil painting.
